Materials: Sapphires + Zircon crystals + 14k solid gold
Hand sculpted with deep blue sapphires elegantly assembled with crystals and framed in 14k solid gold. Rafael Indiana hand carves his pieces from wax making each piece unique, which we believe is what gives the product its authentic ancient beauty.
Empress of empresses, Theodora is probably one of the most powerful women of the Byzantine Empire. Known for having built some of Constantinople's most famous landmarks like Hagia Sophia, her legacy goes beyond societies and eras. Often represented with the most extravagant pieces of jewelry from the Byzantine culture, these earrings are an hommage to her. Sapphires, gemstones of empires, are delicately paired with crystals and gold to drop elegantly around one's neck, forming an inverted T; like one last reverence to the architect of Constantinople.
Each piece is unique and might vary slightly from portrayed images due to hand made craftsmanship and natural gems. Handcrafted and finished by artisans in Istanbul, Turkey’s Grand bazaar. Every design comes with a unique story.
