The NIRVANA necklace is a piece that represents the concept of Nirvana, a transcendent state in Buddhism where there is no suffering, desire, or sense of self. It symbolizes the ultimate goal of Buddhism, which is liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth.

The engraving on the crystal of the necklace depicts a Hindu angel, which represents the concept of Nirvana. In Hindu and Buddhist culture, celestial beings known as devas and mahadevas are believed to exist in inner worlds. These beings, often referred to as gods, are originally associated with the clouds and waters and later take on the roles of nymphs or fairies.

The colors of the pearl and the gem, Blue and white come with spiritual associations. White suggests purity, peace, and light, blue is associated with the sky, faith, wisdom, and truth.

The term Nirvana is found in the texts of various Indian religions, including Hinduism and Jainism. It signifies a profound state of peace and liberation from suffering, attained through spiritual practice or sadhana.

What sets the NIRVANA necklace apart is that it is completely hand sculpted and hand engraved. Rafael Indiana, meticulously engraves each gem and carves each piece from wax, resulting in a unique and authentically ancient beauty.

Every Rafael Indiana product is handcrafted by artisans in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, from wax making each piece unique. We believe it gives the product its authentic ancient beauty. Every design comes with a unique story.
