This sinister ring is set with a blood-red ruby. The gem is modern however, The monture of the ring is ancient bronze, dating back to the Byzantine period of Approx. 450 AD. A masculine and dark design resembling something HADES would wear. Hades is the Greek god of the dead and the ruler of the underworld. He is also associated with great riches, at times referred to as the god of wealth/riches. He was the oldest son of the titan Cronus and Rhea and the brother of Zeus and Poseidon.
