The SENATUS ring draws inspiration from Lucius Tarquinius Priscus, the founder and fifth king of the ancient Roman senate. Senators in ancient Rome often wore rings shaped like a roll of papyrus, known as an “escroe,” which was used for legal certificates and ceremonial purposes.
This exquisite ring features gemstones at each end of the roll, as well as a hidden stone at the bottom. The discreet placement of these gems symbolizes modesty and the idea that sometimes showing less can convey more. The hidden gems also represent the precious qualities within our spirits, which we cherish privately.
