The Hieroglyphic Talisman is a poetic approach to the use of hieroglyphic elements in the eternal transmission of stories and myths. Despite hieroglyphs widely associated with Ancient Egypt, hieroglyphic inscriptions were also present in Ancient civilizations along the shores of Greece and Turkey. Indeed, hieroglyphs were found in the Ancient Palace of Knissos, in Crete; and Luwian hieroglyphs around Modern Izmir and Cappadocia. This piece of fine jewelry exudes the storytelling power of hieroglyphs with intaglio on a labradorite, framed in vermeil gold. On the back is engraved the Latin locution "Ad Astra Per Aspera" meaning "through hardships to the stars".
