Helios, in Ancient Greece, was the sun god, sometimes called a Titan. He drove a chariot daily from east to west across the sky and sailed around the northerly stream of Ocean each night in a huge cup. Under the Roman Empire the sun itself came to be worshipped as the Unconquered Sun.
The intaglio on the stone is a depiction of a flaming sunshine with the roman numeral ‘11’ written inside. Rafael Indiana hand carves his pieces from wax making each piece unique, which we believe is what gives the product its authentic ancient beauty.
