Hand sculpted with a lapis lazuli gem with naturally occurring gold flakes and a foxtail rope surrounding the gem's frame. The motif on the stone is a depiction of the goddess of victory NIKE. Nike, in ancient Greek religion was the goddess of victory, daughter of the giant Pallas and of the infernal River Styx. She was an attribute of Athena and was always represented with her wings. She became a mediator between gods and humans.
